Lots to Enjoy at Loaf Sites over The Bank Holiday Weekend

For the final Bank Holiday of the year, we will mark the occasion with a special Monday opening of Loaf at the Ulster American Folk Park.

With the museum’s opening hours currently limited to Thursday-Sunday, 10am-5pm, this is a great opportunity to have an extra day to get out and explore the stories of those who emigrated to the United States for a better life in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Alongside our new kiosk and outdoor seating area couched close to the entrance of the museum Visitor Centre, we will have our new Family Picnic bags and our usual range of snacks and treats.

Lest we forget, Monday is also the final day of the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, and we are delighted to be able to extend the offering to those joining us at the Folk Park as well as at Loaf on Grosvenor Road – where the scheme has been very popular throughout the month of August.

And while it’s not available on Monday, our pottery and pizzeria is, of course, open in Crawfordburn as usual over the weekend – that’s noon-9pm Thursday to Saturday and noon-4pm on Sunday.

So, whether it’s a family picnic in Omagh, one of our famous sausage rolls on the Grosvenor Road on Monday, or pizza, BYO, and pottery painting in Crawfordsburn – Loaf has got you covered.
